font-size: specify font size. Again, you can specify font size in absolute units (e.g., pixels) or in relative units (e.g., in em). 1em is equivalent to the current font size which is usually 16px.p {

font-size: 1.5em;

}

font-style: can be rather italic, oblique, or normal:p {

font-style: italic;

}

font-weight: specify the weight of your font:p {

font-weight: bold;

}

Besides the font formatting to change the way the text looks, CSS allows applying innumerous rules to the text itself. Properties such as letter-spacing, vertical-align, direction, line-height, text-ident, and text-transform are just some of the properties that can be applied to the text. Check in more detail about them in the w3schools page: https://www.w3schools.com/css/css_text.asp .

Another very important thing to explain about CSS is its box model , which is shown in Figure 6-11. Each element is like a box, and its size is composed of the size of its content, margin, padding, and border.
